Cinderella is a pantomime that follows the famous story: The arrival of the Baron’s new wife (suitably named Medusa) and her two horrific daughters; their maltreatment of Cinderella in the Mansion kitchen; the faithful Buttons; Cinderella’s kindness to the old woman who turns out to be the Fairy Godmother; the romance of the Ball and the handsome Prince; the doom of the striking clock; the hunt for the slipper’s owner; the denouement and Cinderella’s generous forgiveness.
